On Qt 4.5, this makes us disguise our KTextEdit input line
pretty well as a regular line edit. In single-row mode it
now has identical height to a line edit. In multi-row mode
it's a tiny bit larger due to the different size calcula-
tion; this is the best I could do.

However, there's a new problem - in the input box layout
calculations the nick combobox now seems to be larger than
the input line, meaning that views without a combobox (i.e.
queries and DCC chat) now have different margins there,
causing the input line to "dance" on view switches.
